Firefly House
Formerly the Dutch ambassador’s house in Portugal, today Firefly Quinta has lost none of it’s opulent charm and comfort. Extensively renovated by the owners in 2021, the bright and airy south-facing house features 6 double bedrooms, with stripped wood floorboards across three floors.

The Hobbit House
This magical tiny house has won awards in competitions as far away as Milan and Los Angeles. Conceived by the renowned alchemist Pedro Quintela, the Hobbit House is a world of curves, peaceful magic and flowing lines, enabling the writers, dreamers and lovers in us all to escape and reconnect with the simple things in life.
Firefly Quinta has everything to let you enjoy yourself and the company of those you love. The quinta has been rebuilt with a lightness to it, a softness of touch and a humour that lifts the senses and the soul.

The local village is just a few minutes away down the hill, where a pharmacy, local restaurants, supermarket, bakery and surf shop can be found.

For cyclists and hikers you can travel from the quinta to Guincho, Cascais or the heart of ancient Sintra via the forest paths that criss-cross the hills of the stunning park.

For beach lovers, Guincho is a 5 minute drive down the mountain, perfect for early morning surf sessions, lazy days on the beach, kite-surfing or sun-downers at the beach bar.

The charming fishing town of Cascais is an easy 15 minute drive, with dozens of restaurants, shops, and child-friendly beaches. From here there are direct links every 15 minutes on the coastal train network to the heart of Lisbon, an easy 40 minute train ride or drive away.
