The Hobbit House
Hidden away in the bottom of the quinta is an award-winning Hobbit House designed by Internationally-acclaimed architect and alchemist, Pedro Quintela. The house was designed with deep respect and harmony within the energy of the land and the mountains where it was built. Built using simple materials, the house consists of an inter-connected kitchen with beautiful sea views, a dining area, wood burning stove and sofa. The mezzanine bedroom is built alongside an old irrigation pond where one can fall asleep listening to the sound of frogs and owls.
